Trick or Treat for UNICEF All through the month of October the Key Club joined forces with the International Relief Effort Club and collected spare change and other donations that went twoards the United Nation's annual fund raiser for the less fortunate people in Africa. For UNICEF, we raised TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED dollars! Great Job and much thanks to everyone who helped us reach this amount. Candy Jar Contest The Candy Jar Contest helped raise money for S. Alban's Day. During the week of November 12th through November 16th we had a jar filled with candy and one starbucks gift card. The person who guessed the right number of candies in the jar (199) won the contents of the jar. For St. Alban's Day, we raised 56 dollars. Much thanks to everyone who participated. Puppy Wash A puppy wash this year was held on Saturday, December 8th, 2007. Six people attended, and we washed 3 big dogs, which is equivalent to washing 10 small dogs. Job well done to everyone who attended! It was a great success. For everyone who didn't get the chance this time, space was VERY limited; but we will be having more puppy washes throughout the year, so join us next time if you didn't get a chance this time! Yogurbella Sale We had a Yogurbella Sale in school on Monday through Wednesday, January 28-30, 2008. We sold during all lunch periods: 4, 5, and 6. We raised $1300 from the yogurbella sale! Thanks to everyone who bought and helped sell! Autism Walk The Autism Walk took place in Key Biscayne, FL - Crandon Park on Sunday, February 10th, 2008. Thanks so much to all who attended and donated! Relay For Life We participated in the relay for life on April 12th, 2008. We joined the Ransom Raiders team. It was a great success! Thanks to all who attended. Locks of Love Once again, Key Club hosted a Locks of Love ceremony, which was held with the Kids Fighting Cancer club. The minimum amount of hair that you can donate was 6 inches and they did accept dyed hair. It was held on May 6th, 2008 at 3:30 pm in the Lewis Family Auditorium in Dressing Room B. For everyone who didn't get the chance this time, space was VERY limited; but we will be having more puppy washes throughout the year, so join us next time if you didn't get a chance this time!
Yogurbella Sale
We had a Yogurbella Sale in school on Monday through Wednesday, January 28-30, 2008. We sold during all lunch periods: 4, 5, and 6. We raised $1300 from the yogurbella sale! Thanks to everyone who bought and helped sell!
